My students and I are incredibly excited to learn this sport, lacrosse. While this is a sport they are learning how to play, they're learning so much more! They are learning how to work together as a team, problem solve, set goals and achieve them, improve social skills, and becoming physically fit. My students look forward to Friday afternoons to learn a new skill and socialize with their peers in a nonacademic way.
