Games, Snacks, and Smiles in Speech Therapy!

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our project! I'm thrilled to share how the resources you provided have impacted our students and their learning experiences. The new materials have been a game-changer for my class. The new resources, such as the speech guides, vocabulary building tools, and interactive activities, made learning engaging and accessible for all. For instance, a 12th-grade student, used these resources to strengthen her sentence structure and critical thinking as she prepared for her college applications—skills that will serve her well beyond high school.

When the materials first arrived, the students were ecstatic! Their eyes lit up as they explored the colorful resources and hands-on tools. They absolutely loved the new games. The snacks played an unexpectedly important role in creating a safe and welcoming space for my students. Speech therapy can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when students are working on their communication challenges. Having snacks available helped to break the ice, lower their anxiety, and create a more relaxed environment. Snacks also encouraged students to take small breaks and refocus, which improved their participation and confidence in the sessions.
