  • A Cozy Corner

    Thank you so much for blessing our classroom. The students were blown away when they saw the comfortable chairs table and pillows for our classroom.

    At times. There is a lineup to take a seat in our cozy corner. Currently our students take turns taking a break from the hustle and puzzle of a busy kindergarten classroom. They sit and take a moment for peace or chat with our friend in a secluded spot within our learning environment. It has helped to foster relationships within our room. Friendships have begun to blossom as a result.”

  • Help us learn our letter sounds.

    My students are able to use the beginning sound objects in many ways. Students learning letter sounds are sorting the objects into the tubs. The classmates who forgot their show n tell pick an object to show and talk about with the class. Advanced students put the objects in abc order. While others use the objects to practice spelling using a moveable alphabet.

    In the area of oral language I use the objects to check for vocabulary acquisition. In the future we will use the objects to creat descriptive sentences such as The blue shoe is next to the red house. These are just a few ways we will be using the objects in our class.”
