End of Semester Session Snacks
Funded Oct 31, 2024Thanks to your contributions, I was able to have enough snacks to get my students through the end of the semester, all the way up until now! My students love being able to come into my office during their sessions and know that they will be able to have a snack and feel full and safe. Many of them drop by throughout the week-- partly to talk and partly to search for snacks. While I remind them that my snack supply is not endless, these moments provide an opportunity for connection outside of our regularly scheduled sessions. I often have some of my best conversations with students as a result of their snacky tendencies. Thank you again!”

Snacks and Storage
Funded Feb 23, 2025Once again, I am so overwhelmed by the gratitude so many people have shown! You have donated more than my goal, which means I will be able to put the extra funds toward my next goal. That means more snacks or supplies or therapeutic tools that will directly support my students. Thank you so much!”

Fun and Games in Therapy
Funded Aug 10, 2024Thank you for helping me provide my students with new therapy materials. With the money you donated, I was able to get some useful tools for engaging kids in therapy. This has been especially helpful for my older students, who have really enjoyed getting into new games and sharing about themselves.
For kids (and adults!), it's often difficult to engage in therapy without some prompting. These tools help kids reflect on their experiences, opinions, and inner-selves. I learn things about the kids, and they learn things about themselves!”

Funded Aug 5, 2024Thank you so much for helping me stock my snack bin during this first semester of school. We all know that food has a lot of power to bring people together and provide comfort. Having food in my office allows me to connect with my students and keep them full throughout the day.
You went above and beyond in your donations-- I have been able to get more supplies and will be able to get more snacks than we initially purchased. I'm so thankful to this community of people and the way you support my work.”

Funded Jan 15, 2024Thank you for helping my students have snacks for the second semester of the school year. Your support meant that I was able to keep all of my students fed during sessions, which meant that they were able to concentrate better and learn more. Students were especially excited about the Cheez-Its, which remained a hit for the entire year. Next year, I am hoping to be able to do the same thing, since I saw what a difference it made for my students. I truly appreciate your continued support! Here's to a great end of the school year!”

Therapeutic Tools for School
Funded Sep 15, 2023I truly appreciate all of your support in making it possible for me to provide my students with the care they deserve. These tools have helped me to support them through updated therapy interventions and mindfulness education. For students who have experienced trauma, tools like these can make all the difference. My students especially enjoy the meditation cards. For many students, these meditations give them a chance to relax and re-set before returning to class. It means a lot to be able to provide them with these tools.”

A Safe Space for Students
Funded Sep 9, 2023As the first semester of school comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude for the items you helped to fund for my students. My students have been so appreciative of the snacks and water that they are able to access in my office. The granola bars especially were a big hit! It's also meant a lot to me to be able to provide students with water and a snack during especially difficult or emotional moments. My younger students are using the "A Little SPOT of Feelings" book and plush set to explore and better understand emotions. It's given us a solid framework to work through and I can already see them growing in their knowledge. You've also made my life easier by making my office more efficient. It meant so much to me to see people from multiple phases of my life come together to the benefit my students. I'm looking forward to seeing their growth continue over the course of the spring semester.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Joanna
