Help Kids Tap into The Art World!

Funded Nov 28, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this cause! We recently finished up our 2-D units and are now heading into our 3-D units. Most of the time in our 3-D units we create the illusion of dimension. My students are very excited to created actual three dimensional sculptures. They saw all the wood pieces and ask everyday when we can start. I saw one of my students even sketching ideas for wooden sculptures in his sketchbook.

Within the next few weeks we will be discussing various artists who create sculpture and more specifically relief sculpture. Students will have the opportunity to then create their own relief sculptures starting with the canvasses as a base and building up from there.

Thank you again so much for giving my students an opportunity to learn about, experience and create a different media in art class.”

With gratitude,

Ms. Solorzano
