Funded Oct 5, 2023Thank you, so very much for the help you provided for my students. Their tiny hands are becoming stronger and most of them are now able to either trace their name or even write it on their own. The pencil grips made a big difference in how they hold their pencils. All of them have shown progress in their ability to hold small things and complete their art projects that require them to use their fingers such as coloring and finger painting.
At the beginning of the year, our classroom was bare. We had a lot of empty shelves, and very little fun activities for the students' development. The day they arrived to the classroom and saw that the shelves were not empty, they were very excited and happy. One of my students' favorite stations is the shape tiles. They use them to complete puzzles and create figures like letters and animals.
I would like to provide my students with more manipulatives to create more interesting workstations. They are like sponges, and very smart. It has been challenging to keep up with their fast progress! Once again, thank you, so very much for your generosity. My students and I appreciate what you've done for us.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Briseño
