Not Enough Fingers and Toes
Funded Aug 27, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation of calculators. The students have enjoyed being able to use their own calculator and not have to share. They have been able to complete assignments more quickly because they are able to use their own calculator. I also have students that are able to check out a calculator during the day or overnight to complete their assignments while still having enough for class. It has also made an impact in the tidiness of the classroom. The students have taken extra care of the calculators and return them to the door pocket hanger each night. We truly appreciate your generosity and will continue to enjoy these calculators this year and the years to come.”

Funded Jan 1, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity. We utilized the graphing paper and markers to depict the motions of the Tortoise and the Hare through motion graphs - position/time and velocity/time graphs. We also used them to graph Zombie Motions in our 1 Dimensional Motion Unit.
The students appreciated that they could make their graphs on paper that was already lined and with bigger grids than a normal sized piece of paper. They also liked using the new timers and markers. I appreciated the timers because it takes the phone of the equation.
Currently, we are working on momentum and impulse in class. I love doing labs with my students. We are about to start our third lab in 6 days. They enjoy getting up and moving and applying what they have learned. The timers have been used with multiple labs and will be continued to be used next nine weeks.”

Mrs. Moreno
