We Can Ease Into Learning With an Easel
Funded Sep 15, 2024My students are making good use of the materials you generously provided. My project was geared towards creating work areas for small groups. My students now gather with their material around a small table and work comfortably sitting on a stool. We used to work on the floor which wasn't sustainable for an extended period of time. Now we can focus on our work and be productive. The easel is magnetic and it doubles as a display case for featured work.
The students have used the art supplies to create fun holiday projects as well as illustrate their writing. They are very creative and there is nothing more inspiring than brand new crayons, markers and paper.
The shelving system you funded allows us to be organized. Organization encourages independence and responsibility. Students get their own materials and know where to return then. We are very grateful for your donation. You have greatly impacted our daily activities and made learning fun again.”

Ms. Franklin

Funded Oct 12, 2023I can't thank you enough for your generous donation. We received the color card stock, laminating sheets, dry erase materials and so much more. The students gasped when I unpacked the boxes. They were very excited to see how we would use the supplies. Each time I introduce a new literacy center. They shout, "you made these with the nice paper."
My students are struggling readers and they are actually excited to work with their new materials. They are benefitting from the variety of centers focusing on phonics games and activities. The color card stock allows me to color code the assignments and add interest The activities are durable because they are all laminate. As a busy classroom teacher, durability is key because my centers last and I may be able to use them again next year.”

Cozy, Calm and Ready to Learn
Funded Sep 10, 2023My students and I are very grateful for your generosity. We begin every morning gathered on our bright new rug. We enjoy meeting as a large group to listen to stories or engage in meaningful discussions about the books we read. The smaller rug mats allow the students to find their own quiet space in the classroom to read, write or do partner work. We are lucky enough to have a large classroom, but it was a cold and impersonal. The rugs bring warmth to the space and the students are proud of their learning environment.
The Cozy Corner is probably my favorite space. Students settle on a pillow or rug mat and escape into a good book. Many don't have a quiet place to read at home. They really enjoy the tranquility of the Cozy Corner.”

Ms. Franklin
