    Thank you so much for the materials for my classroom. My students and I really appreciate your funding and support of education in Colorado! This year we are still short a teacher for students with learning disabilities. Teachers of students with severe cognitive needs are receiving a $10,000 bonus while we are not, because, according to our district, their jobs are hard to fill and ours are not (however, they are fully staffed...and we are not). Having some extra funding so our classrooms can have new materials is great. Thanks again-”

  • Resources and Tools For Students With Learning Differences

    Thank you so much for the funding for a projector, doc cam, binders, and other classroom tools. I am excited to start our senior portfolio project using the binders in the second semester. I appreciate you! My students are excited to have binders that are not previously used. Senior portfolios are one way for students to demonstrate graduation proficiencies, so it is a delight to have new shiny tools! Clorox wipes are always a necessity and it is a relief not to have to purchase them myself for a few weeks. I greatly appreciate your support.”

  • Classroom Library Growth and Creativity Supplies

    My students LOVE the books I was able to acquire with this funding! I chose books that will connect with a diverse audience and are at a reading level many of my students can access independently. I enjoy watching them choose new books that they identify with and see so much interest every time I put a new book out on the display shelf!

    We are also so thankful for the new markers and other art supplies--our old materials were worn out and not in great shape. Having new materials is such a treat for students and they are thankful! We really appreciate your support!”
