Supported and Engaged: Creating a Positive and Safe Classroom Environment
Funded Aug 8, 2024Thank you so much for donating to this project. With these headphones, fidgets, and tablets, students have been able have a classroom environment that is welcoming for them to learn in.
Students use the headphones every day in class to do work on online platforms to help them with their grammar and reading comprehension, and are also used when they want to have some relaxation in class. The fidget toys are great for kids (and even teachers) who need something a little extra to help them to focus, and they are fun for students to use and play with. The tablets are a way to help me and the students whose first language is not English to communicate more in class, as students no longer have cell phones in school to use for these purposes. These tablets are a way to bridge the gap and help with communication all around.
Thank you again for your donation and helping make the classroom a better place.”
With gratitude,

Funded Sep 2, 2023Thank you so much for contributing to my project to help my Speech and Debate students have a great season. Their season is just starting to kick into high gear, but these materials have helped them to star tout strong. Most of the the materials in this project were to help students that do a speech event that allows them to use visual aids to enhance the speeches they give. These boards can be very creative, so these materials have been able to help my students create visuals that they are excited about using. Just before Thanksgiving, one of my students made her visual aids with a lot of the materials and was so appreciative of the tools that she was able to use to get the job done. When she first saw the materials, she was really excited to get started and put all of the boards, magnets, easels, and bag to use.
For the other materials that I got to help my freshmen English students, they have taken to the bell that I have been able to use for classroom management pretty well. All of these materials have been able to go to great use so far, and will continue to for the rest of the year.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Olsen
