Funded Apr 24, 2025I’m incredibly grateful for your generosity!! This will make a huge difference for our students and I can’t wait to share the good news with them. This comes at a perfect time with state testing.

Funded Nov 17, 2024The sharpener has been a great addition to the classroom! So much time was being wasted with our broken sharpener so this has saved us from many headaches! Manuel sharpeners are always getting lost so having a fast electric one is essential in an elementary classroom!
The snacks were a huge hit when breakfast did not arrive. The snacks have also been great fuel for my students who stay after school for tutoring. Hungry students are not able to learn so these snacks have been amazing. It's been a great way to speak with students about how important it is to fuel our bodies properly.”

The Wild Robot Class Novel Set
Funded Nov 13, 2024Thank you for your generosity! It means a lot that you took the time to fund my project. I know my students will really enjoy this novel study and I can't wait to implement it with them. I hope this book will foster a love of reading and inspire students to pick up chapter books on their own!”

Math Manipulatives and Fun Prizes
Funded Sep 11, 2023I came into this year with a classroom that was basically empty. After learning what levels my students were at in math I became aware of how helpful it would be to help me have manipulatives. It's been great to see how they help students really understand the concepts when they can take a hands-on approach. It's helped close the gap with some students that came in needing some help with the math foundations.
Additionally, having prizes for the students has helped motivate them! We have a great new reward system where students earn tickets that they can cash in for a variety of prizes. Some choose to spend their tickets on things worth 1 ticket, but we have many students who are saving their tickets for things that are 10 or more tickets. It has been great to see students get motivated in work. I have also used them to motivate students to work together in groups and have seen a big improvement!”

More books for Classroom Library
Funded Sep 20, 2023My students have been very excited for the new books! They love getting to see our library grow. I have been working on summaries and main ideas with my students and this is a wonderful way to involve student choice in what they write about.
Seeing them excited to find new stories has been amazing! I had a student this morning come tell me all about the book he finished in at home last night from the library and how he was excited to switch it for a new one.
I can't wait to see the reports they will write over the break on the book they get to borrow from our library!”

Technology for Bilingual Classroom
Funded Sep 20, 2023The headphones have been a hit with the kids! They are comfortable and allow them to stay focused on their iReady lessons without the distraction of other lessons. We have also been using them as a way to teach responsibility. The headphones have a specific location and the students hold themselves accountable to put them away in the proper numbered bag so that the next group has them ready.
The speaker has also made a huge different in our classroom! Our Social Studies curriculum is online based and the speaker means we are now able to watch the videos where everyone can hear! I have also started putting on meditations for the students to do and it's been a great SEL tool.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to donate to my project. It means the world to me and has made a big difference in our day to day.”
