  • A Clean and Comfortable Classroom Keeps Kids Coming to School

    Now that our pandemic years are behind us, it's difficult to find cleaning supplies to keep our classrooms sanitized. Your donations have helped replenish my supply of tissues, sanitizing wipes, gloves, masks, and other essentials that keep my room clean.

    My students are seniors and are short on graduation credits. That's why they are in my class. I don't want them to miss any valuable class time due to illness. With a sanitized room and filtered air, the environment is much healthier and my students are staying well.

    They are most excited by the air purifier, as it helps the air circulation and makes the room smell better. We don't have any windows, so it's a chance for us to get some fresh air.”

  • Seniors Strive to Regain Lost Credits Through Online Courses

    The students in my class are required to use their laptop to access our courseware. Frequently, they have forgotten to charge their computer and have not brought the charger to school.

    Your donation has provided my class with extra chargers so they never miss a day of instruction. Once they finish my coursework, they have the credits they need to graduate. With properly-working technology, they can finish much faster.

    Additionally, I now have a translator device that helps me interact more easily with our multi-language learners. It's such an amazing device in the classroom and at parent conferences.”
