    Thank you for choosing to fund my project, "Get the Kiddos Reading!"

    Because of your donation, students will now find engaging and fun graphic novels and short historical fiction novellas in the media center. The graphic novels not only provide entertainment but serve as a gateway to other novels. Reading should inspire and spark curiosity. The historical fiction are based on fact and give world wide perspectives on people, places and events that shaped the world we live in now. Your donation will help students gain a love of reading that will follow them into adulthood.”

  • Let's Get Reading!

    The effects of students being forced into a period of isolation and on-line learning has had a lasting impact. I have noticed that they are more likely to turn to the computer for entertainment rather than books. They struggle to find materials that they want to read. I focused on purchasing books that the students have been asking for specifically. My hope is to help them re-develop the habit of reading and look less towards instant entertainment. Thank you so much for your support to help the students develop a love of reading!”
