I want to thank you again for donating to my project! My students and I are extremely grateful. The resources are providing them creative opportunities to improve skills such as holding a pencil, cutting, writing, challenging their critical thinking/memory skills, organizing their assignments, and developing self-regulation skills. Using these materials in various ways, helps keeps them engaged and supports their development. With the materials, the students report feeling happy and are having fun whenever they are in an OT session.

The scholars were all excited to use all materials especially, the bean bag chair and scooter boards! Scholars of all ages (5-14) use the chair to help with calming. Their eyes light up with new materials and each student has their favorite item or game to utilize.

The next step is to use the skills independently within the classroom and school environment”
