Bringing Tributes to Life: Illustrated Hunger Games for Engaged Readers
Funded Apr 7, 2025I want to thank you for funding the illustrated editions of The Hunger Games for my classroom. Your generosity has made a meaningful impact on my students' learning experience and deepened their love for reading.
As all of my students are deaf and primarily visual learners, the addition of beautifully illustrated texts is not just appreciated—it’s essential. These new editions are bringing the story to life in ways that traditional formats cannot. With vivid visuals complementing the rich narrative, my students are able to comprehend the plot better and emotionally connect with the characters and themes.
After diving into the illustrated editions of Harry Potter, my students were thrilled by how accessible and engaging the reading experience became. Their excitement was contagious—they immediately began asking for more books like it. Thanks to your support, The Hunger Games will be the next step in their journey, and I know it will be just as impactful.”

You are truly helping me bring magic to life through my students' eyes. The books will help ignite a love for Harry Potter amongst my deaf students, and I could not have done it without you.”

Empower Deaf Learners: Binders Needed
Funded Oct 4, 2023I wanted to acknowledge again the role you played in enhancing the learning process of our deaf students. The students were eagerly anticipating the arrival of the binders. The wide array of colors ensured that there was something for everyone. They were gone in mere seconds.
We have diligently used this binder daily as part of our classroom routine. The students do not go anywhere without it. The organization skills we worked on with the binders also came to fruition.
The binder will continue to serve as a time capsule of their memories throughout the year whenever they feel like looking back proudly at all the work they did.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Jannusch
