  • New Storage and Organization for the New Year

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

Happy New Year! It was such a joy to return to school and start off 2025 receiving packages with new supplies and storage. Our classroom has benefitted so much from the organization, and it has revitalized our learning!

So many of our book bins and other plastic storage were broken or cracked after being well-loved for many years. I am so thankful to have sturdy new bins that my students will be able to use for many years to come. I have also been able to reorganize our math games and centers so that they are more organized and easily accessible. We love our new rotating marker holder and pencil sharpener. And of course, fresh paper and pencils are always needed for a group of hardworking second graders!

Thank you so much for supporting our class. These items have made such a difference in our learning, and in brightening our classroom home. We appreciate your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Broderick

  • A Bookshelf Full of Fresh New Reads!

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom library! Our book collection was quickly outgrowing the small shelves we had. I am always trying to provide new books that grab students' interest and motivate them to love reading. This new bookshelf and bins have provided the perfect storage space for the new sets of easy chapter books and other favorite series that my students enjoy.

With your generosity, I was able to reorganize our classroom library to make it easier for students to access some of our most-loved books. It is a beautiful and well-organized space that my students are able to enjoy each day. It brings so much joy to see students excited about reading and developing a lifelong love for books. Thank you!”

  • Colorful Classroom Supplies

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

It was such a joy and relief to receive these new items as I set up my classroom for the 2024-2025 school year. As I opened each box, I could visualize the learning and creativity that these materials would foster in my classroom. I strive to make my classroom a place where students have many choices for how and where to complete their work, allowing them to develop their autonomy and independence. My students have loved the new comfy floor seats for reading in the library and clipboards for completing their assignments on the rug.

I was also able to restock my writing center with all the colorful new paper and pens. Students use this space each day to practice their literacy skills, as well as using the materials to create art projects and cards for family and friends.

My students and I are so grateful for your generosity in contributing to our colorful classroom. It is a brighter and more joyful place because of you!”

  • Readers (and Writers) are Leaders!

    Funded Feb 6, 2024

We were so excited to receive the materials from this project! As I opened each box with my students, their faces lit up with excitement. They were thrilled to learn that other people who didn't even know them were so generous to donate these things to our class!

My students' favorite items have definitely been the new flexible seating options. They love choosing a scoop rocker or wobble cushion to sit on each day. Having comfortable choices for where to work has helped so many of my kiddos.

I also love the display bookshelf where I can put out books featuring different topics we are learning about or current celebrations. Students loved reading all the books displayed for Black History Month and we now have a selection of books for our unit about space.

The new writing paper, markers, dry erase sleeves, and chart paper have all been used and loved as well. These are things that we use daily and having fresh supplies makes a huge difference in our learning each day.

Again, thank you so much for your generosity. As a teacher, I want to give everything to my students, and it means the world that you would partner with me in supporting the learning of these future leaders. We appreciate you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Broderick
