Math Intervention
Funded Aug 27, 2023I want to thank each of you for your generous donations. The magnets, dry erase sets, number lines, flashcards, magnetic fractions, pattern blocks, base ten sets are such valuable tools for my students. I support two grade levels as an intervention teacher and I also teach in unique environments; hallways with magnetic boards and a small group area. Your donation has made these areas alive with learning. Students are able to use the manipulates to better understand the standards.
I want you to know that when our students say, "Oh, I get it," because of a math manipulative it is an absolutely awesome gateway to their understanding. With each child having their own unique needs, the manipulatives offer a visual/hands-on opportunity to grapple with a concept. Thank you once again.”
