Learning History With Visual Helps
Funded May 9, 2024Thank you so much for your help in outfitting the classroom with posters and other visual aids. I received many of the items right at the end of last school year and my students were pretty excited to see them. Since that time, I have changed locations and now find myself at Broken Arrow's Ernest Childers Middle School. My new classroom looks great with these new items and my students love the new additions.
It is imperative to provide a decent learning environment to include visual aids and helpful teaching tools within the classroom. Your donation has helped foster that within our classroom.”

Flexible Seating
Funded Feb 9, 2024Thank you so much for assisting our class get wiggle seat pads. Fidget bands and a few stools. The wiggle pads and fidget bands were instant hits and I saw an immediate shift in focus. I have one student that struggles to stay seated, he has been using a new stool and a fidget band and I have noticed a huge behavioral shift with him. This all is a direct correlation to the donation that you gave to our class. I have had several teachers say that they are going to get the fidget bands for their own rooms. Thanks again.

Poor Lighting Makes the Smartboard Hard to See.
Funded Nov 13, 2023It's often the seemingly small things that ignite the biggest transformations, and your generous contribution to our classroom is a testament to that truth. When we received your gifts for the light filters, a quiet sigh of relief was had. After months of battling harsh glare and strained eyes, our classroom was about to embrace a whole new learning landscape.
Gone are the days of squinting at the Smartboard, words dissolving into a fluorescent light-drenched haze. Thanks to your thoughtful support, the room now bathes in a gentle, dappled light. It's allowing the Smartboard to shine without casting blinding shadows or washing out its vibrant details. The effect is immediate and tangible.
Gone, too, are the echoes of repeating instructions, the frustrated frowns etching across student's faces. The concentration in the room is palpable, a focused hum replacing the previous murmur of confusion.
The change, believe me, is like night and day. It's more than just flickering lights; it's a shift in our atmosphere. But the real transformation goes beyond the four walls of this room. It ripples outward, impacting every lesson, every conversation, every spark of curiosity ignited. Your generosity has gifted us not just with light filters and classroom supplies but with the power to see, to delve deeper, to learn without limitation.
We are the lucky ones – educators who get to witness the blossoming of young minds, nurtured by the seeds you have sown. But ultimately, it's the students who truly reap the fruits of your compassion.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of this. With your light guiding the way, our classroom, and the young minds within it, will continue to shine.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Rasmussen
