  • Chair Pockets for Kindergarteners

    Funded Mar 13, 2024

    My students were thrilled to have new chair pockets to organize their supplies! They were excited to come into the classroom and see the chair pockets on their chairs. I explained that through the kindness of others we were able to get them to help our class be organized. We talked about how to treat the new tools with respect to keep them clean and nice so that they will last through many kindergarten classes.

    My kindergartners send lots of hugs and thanks to each donor. It takes a special person to donate to education and our next generation of leaders! I appreciate your support and know that your kindness will affect many classes!”

  • Kindergarten Library - Opening New Worlds

    The students and I am really excited to receive all the wonderful books about people from all over the world. My classroom is made up of students from different backgrounds and cultures. The joy that these books bring when we read about a culture that relates to what they know is immense. Today we read "Dreamers" and the students related to the story about learning from books and having two languages. Students love hearing and seeing people in the books that look and act like them. Growing a classroom library is difficult but with the kindness from donors like you, we have a good start”

  • Books for Kinders

    What fun my kinders have had with the Mo Willems and James Dean books! We have been reading them in class at carpet time. The fun books have captivated the students interests and have had them giggling. I appreciate the kindness that was shown to my students by donations given, so we could enjoy the literacy of popular children's authors. One of the favorite books was "Pete the Cat, I Love My White Shoes". The students had fun repeating the story to go with the shoes they had on!! It turned out to be very interactive. Once again, we appreciate all they love shown to us through Donors Choose.”
