Classroom Economy Rewards for Positive Student Behavior

My students were beyond thrilled to see all the different options they could buy from our classroom "store". I have been enjoying using ClassEquity this year as my behavior management system. My students are following classroom expectations to earn bonus dollars. In addition, each of my students holds a classroom job and in return, they get paid monthly.

Students are excited to check their ClassEquity account to see how much money they have earned through positive behavior. My students have learned how to deposit money into their electronic accounts. Students are learning the value of saving money to buy more satisfying rewards.

My whole class was certainly shocked when they saw all the different learning board games, pop-its, coloring books, and the variety of candy that they could buy. Every Friday, the classroom "store" is open and students are able to purchase what they would like as long as they have enough money to afford it.
