Reading Time Book Boxes

Thank you for the donation of the reading boxes. Our school does not provide this as a resource. Upon arriving at the school as a new teacher I realized the need for students to have book boxes that would hold books as well as their iPad. Both are used daily to practice reading.

In our classroom students are proud of this storage. Often they will be lined up in rainbow order with out me requesting this. The book boxes can easily hold everything students need for our reading centers. This includes, books, a reading folder, sight word flash cards and their iPads. The students are able to carry the boxes around the classroom and have all of these learning tools available to them.

Your donation makes an impact everyday. Over half of this class is new to this country. These students are hard working, and eager to learn school. The other half of the class is leading the way in showing their willingness to help their peers navigate a new country.”
