  • Hands-On Math

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

For supporting current and future students!

It is truly a privilege to be able to have accessible access to hands on materials that benefit student growth. These materials will be used for years to come to educate the youth in my classroom.

Thank you truly for your support and encouragement!”

  • Holidays for Everyone!

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

Thank you for the donation so that my class could receive holiday-themed materials.

I have found with the diversity in the classroom in today's world that it is super important that we have the materials to teach about the different cultural holidays. With the materials received, I plan to introduce in-depth lessons to educate kids on the reasons we celebrate holidays and their true meanings. My class has found a particularly big interest in learning about diversity this year as we come from a rural school district where we have students of all ethnicities and cultures. This week we use some of the materials to learn about Martin Luther King Jr. and the importance that he played in our history in the past and today in our present. We are so thankful for these materials as they will be used for generations to come.”

  • Student Care Cart Essentials

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you for funding the student care cart for my classroom. Coming from a small country school with many children can mean having some needs that aren't always met.

The students can access the student care cart at all times with some general guidelines such as the condition of only taking materials if they truly need them. This is to help prevent all the materials from being taken immediately.

I put the cart together yesterday and the kids came in from their encore time they were super excited and grateful for the new resources that were added to our classroom.

With the generous support from donors much like you, it makes a huge difference in meeting the student's needs in something as easy as giving them a hair brush. With these materials, I can see my students grow not only as little humans but as growing students.”

  • “i Survived” Through Reading!

    Funded Aug 3, 2024

Thank you so much for the books that you have given our classroom. The I survive books are really good for introducing historical fiction into the classroom. We've already read a couple of them as a class starting with " The attacks of September 11th"! my students have shared interest in these books, not only by reading the ones that we have in our classroom because of generous people like you, but have been checking them out at the school library as well so that they're able to take them home. Students have shared interest, and wanting to learn more from the books in dig deeper into the events that have taken place in history. The thing that we love most about survive books is that although it introduces hard topics that students are able to comprehend.”

  • Food Insecurities

    Funded Aug 1, 2024

Thank you so much for helping my class this year. The donation is going to be a huge factor to my students and their education. I strongly believe in meeting the needs physically before they are able to learn in the classroom. These snacks and other resources will benefit students who deal with food insecurities, lack of food at home, and work as incentives for their learning needs. When meeting these what seem like "basic" needs. We can really impact students learning outcomes and they will show through their work.”
