Instructional Tools and Instrument Equipment

Thank you for your impact on my classroom! One part of our project was receiving sturdy instrument stands. This has been especially helpful for our students who "double" and play more than one instrument. One student in our Concert Band Contest pieces has to switch in the middle of the piece from the baritone saxophone to the soprano saxophone. This is a tough change and he has to carefully navigate the large bari sax. He was very excited and relieved to get to use this stand. The addition of the Hercules saxophone stands allow him to make the change with no stress and protects these school-owned instruments from damage!

One of the other large donation items was a mobile dry erase board. Our students were very interested in this addition and even helped assemble it! Our band classes often involve moving instruction to different spaces for sectionals for school-wide events. With this new resource, I can bring a dry erase board with me no matter where we rehearse. This is a great tool for direct instruction. Even our adjunct private lesson teachers enjoy bringing it to lessons!”
