Special Education Communication Tools

Thank you so much for your amazing contribution to our classroom to get IPads to use in our special education classroom. We use them daily to help with resource support to meet IEP goals, provide visual schedules, and use them as a time management tool.

The first day we had the IPads up and running, it allowed several of my students to work on educational games and work on their learning goals while I was able to progress students. My friends loved the interactive games and the animations that it provided.

We have also used our IPads to provide interactive visual schedules for some of our students to help them be successful in the general education classroom by allowing them to see picture representations of their schedule and what to expect next in their day.

These IPads have been a life saver in our classroom. They were something that we desperately needed in our classroom but financially was not something we could swing without this grant. Once again, thank you so much for your support of our classroom and our special education population.”
