Real World Hands-on STEM
Funded Aug 14, 2023My students were very excited to see all the materials coming in. They couldn't wait to explore the new stem bins I created. The kids got to use their imagination and hands on skills to create various stem items. They created cars and practiced problem solving on their own.
Kids are exposed to more and more screens and have less hands on time especially during covid. I'm giving them opportunities to explore, ask questions and discover new ways to solve things themselves. They played around with making different levers and pulley systems. They love coming to class to learn. These wonderful kids are our future. I wanna give them the best possible future I can.
Technology is everywhere and in many forms. The ability to think outside the box is important in making new discoveries and new products. We are fostering and nurturing their minds. The kids need the chance to use their imagination. The kids need the chance to problem solve on their own. That's how they grow and learn. They are having so much fun playing while learning. Thank you so much for all our goodies.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Allison
