  • On the Move

    Funded Apr 3, 2025

Thank you so much for funding my project "On the Move." Hands on learning is the best way to engage students in learning. Working with students with special needs it's even more important to have realia for active learning. My students and I are very grateful you chose our project to fund. We look forward to sharing pictures of what your generous donations have helped us to experience.”

  • A Little Spot of Social Emotional Regulation

    Funded Mar 6, 2024

My class got really excited as they saw the Little Spot of Social Emotional Regulation materials come into our classroom. They love holding, looking at, and reading the books that go along with videos we have watched. We are able to stop and really look at the pictures more closely and have better discussions about our feelings and emotions. They are using the stuffed spots of emotions to act out feelings and practice appropriately expressing their feelings. The games have helped students with starting sentences to express feelings.

I truly appreciate your donations to my classroom. They are helping me to teach my current students and students to come life skills that they need to be well rounded citizens.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wheeler

  • Touch Math for Special Needs Class

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

You have made such a big impact on the 1-3 special needs classroom. We were overjoyed to get the touch math materials and the number strips. The kids are very excited to use the new materials. We are using the touch math every day at this point. The children are touching each dot to learn adding and subtracting and finding the numbers on the number line for number identification. They really like the animal number lines and are interested in adding and subtracting with them. Our classes really needed this. I would have not been able to get this for our kids.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wheeler
