Mental Munchie

I am so grateful our Mental Munchie Program was fully funded. Already more than fifty students have been able to receive healthy snacks throughout the day to boost their energy level. Hungry students who are embarrassed to ask for food now show up with a smile on their face and ask politely if they can choose a snack. It makes my heart so happy to be a part of this giving endeavor, and that is why I am so grateful.

Students grades are rising and their attitude toward school is brighter just by you reaching out and helping them with this gesture of generosity.

I am attaching pictures of a student who comes in daily for 'beef jerky', his favorite. He is no longer embarrassed. He smiles and tells me about his day and his classes. I have also included pictures of notes that were written by some of the recipients. They enjoy these snacks at the end of the day while they are studying.
