Energize Students and Keep Them Focused!
Funded Sep 19, 2024Thank you so much for helping me keep my students energized and focused this school year. My students so much appreciated the snacks provided, school lunches aren't always the best no matter how hard we try. They especially loved the goldfish and beef sticks. Boy, do they love those beef sticks.
My students also VERY much appreciate the headphones, both noise cancelling and the type they can play music through. I have given out so many of the earbuds to students who cannot afford the fancy wireless ones. Students are always so shocked/excited when I pull out the corded headphones. They love being able to choose their color too - they are so themed these days.”

Funded Aug 14, 2024Thank you so much for helping make small groups a reality here at Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. The students have really grown socially and emotionally not only due to the workbooks but the fidgets make it so much easier for student to engage and share their experiences. We have seen such a change in our students because of your help creating the curriculum for these groups. Students outside of the groups have utilized the workbooks for personal growth, and I love to see them advacating for themselves in these ways.
Something that has really struck me this year is kids resilence despite of what is going on around us. Not only locally, but globally as well. The intelligent, meaningful coversations I see between them is largely because of the journals and workbooks that help them discover who they are and what they stand for. Again, thank you all for making this a reality.”

Funded Aug 11, 2023First of all, thank you much for allowing my students to have the resources they need to successfully get through their school day. The kids are absolutely in LOVE with the bean bags, they just cannot get enough of them. The fidget toys are also an extemely popular item. They have been 'rented' out over 200 times since I got the products in. The two color tubes and wiggle slug are two favorites, sometimes the kids even sign up to be the next person to get to use them during class.
Everyday there is at least three students who come into my office and just plop right down on the bean bags to tell me about their day. Sometimes it is hard things, sometimes it's drama, and sometimes it is just to update me on some things. The students really, REALLY, love them and how comfortable they are. It has helped my office feel more like a comfy and safe space to exist in a hard time.
The color books are also a HUGE hit. So much so that I have to make copies of the pages for kids to color on. The books are so unique and have such great art that there is no way I could pick a student to have a specific page. The first aid kit has also come in handy, these kids are constantly asking me for bandaids and the Browndages are so great to have, the students of color are so excited to see bandages that match their skin tone.
Thank you again for helping me provide a safe space and the tools kids need to get through the school day.”
