Thank you so much to everyone who donated! I appreciate your donation, this couldn’t have been done without you! • Fun Toys!

    Funded Apr 5, 2024

I want to take a moment to thank you for all your help and support throughout this project. My students were very excited when I brought out these new toys. They were able to learn to share with one another, wait their turn and learn to walk away when other peers wanted to play. My students were always very happy and excited to play with these toys!

These toys allowed for my students to play with other toys that weren't available in the classroom. My students would always ask for these toys to be brought out when they were accessible. Thank you again, for all the help and support in my classroom.”

  • House Area

    Funded Dec 17, 2023

I want to thank you all for supporting this amazing project. My students have enjoyed playing with these new toys and have even become favorite ones to play with! It has also given my students the opportunity to play with new toys, but also learn to share with one another.

This project has really played an important role in my student social skills. They have been able to understand that having one of something can be difficult to give up, but learning to share and ask for a turn is a great skill to learn when it comes to playing. It has been very hard for me to put away these amazing toys because they love them! This brings a lot of happiness and joy knowing my students love playing with toys that interest them! Again, thank you all for all the support and generous donations. This couldn't have be done without you!”

  • A Classroom Filled with Joy and Laughter

    Funded Nov 30, 2023

I first want to start of by saying thank you so much for all your generous donations and support in making this project happen! My students are now learning to play with board games and learning to wait their turn. My students have also been saying new sensory toys that help them calm down and also use throughout the day. Being able to use the different type of counters on the light table is something they have really enjoyed! My students are able to play with different animals and use their imagination when playing.

My students were very excited when they saw the new toys being put out. They immediately decided to play with everything that was new and had so much fun. You could see how happy my students were and were very excited to play with the new toys! My next steps for my students is to be able to use my counters to teach them how to count, how to group different animals and even use the puzzles to learn to wait their turn since this is an a important social skill. I also plan to use all my toys for a specific lesson in wait I am very excited to plan and teach! Once again, thank you for all your support, this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Valle
