English Growth Sets Me Up for Success!

Our students worked so hard this year to do their best on our English proficiency test. Our school had 37 students who scored well enough on the test to reach full proficiency and exit from the program that provides English support services! We also had 150 who demonstrated at least a full year of growth, as measured by the ACCESS test, in the areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

The celebratory items we purchased to honor these students only added to the pride they felt in their accomplishments when they were presented at our special recognition event! They looked amazing in their graduation caps, and they beamed with pride to see their personized trophies and congratulatory water bottles! They wore the medals around their necks with big smiles on their faces. It was amazing to see even the "cool" big kids keep wearing their awards for the remainder of the day!

The teachers who worked hard to support these students wait all year to see that hard work pay off. We were so grateful to have the opportunity to recognize their work publicly with these wonderful awards that your donation made possible.
