Motivate and Appreciate
Funded Dec 2, 2024On behalf of my students and myself, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our project. Your contribution means a lot to us, and we cannot thank you enough for your support. Your generosity will help us provide our students with the best possible learning experience, especially regarding the classroom environment.
The most exciting aspects of this project include all the resources to help make our classroom environment amazing. This project has helped to create an organized environment for our students. It has also helped to promote equity with the ability for us to provide ALL students with learning materials and supplies. The items purchased have allowed students access to pencils, pens, highlighters, markers, colored pencils, etc. The labels and ability to organize the materials help students to build a sense of pride and ownership. The zipper pouches provided a way for the supplies to be organized and labeled to ensure that every student had a set of supplies that could be used based on their assigned seat numbers. All items helped to promote an engaging and organized classroom environment. Seeing all the books, supplies, student binders, desks, etc. organized is so exciting. The snacks provided a key way to implement systems of community and student responsibility in taking care of our classroom. They were used as incentives and rewards for those students who demonstrated a sense of responsibility for themselves, their peers, and the classroom.
Your generous donation will continue to be used for future students in my classroom. At a school where many students struggle with getting to school daily, due to family obligations and other incidences, they can use these class resources to create work they can be proud of.
Mahalo again for your very generous donation.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Fujitani

Funded Feb 13, 2024On behalf of my students and myself, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our project. Your generosity will help us provide our students with the best possible learning experience, especially in response to the needs of students.
The most exciting aspect of the new headphones for our students is the ability to work at their own pace. With the headphones, students can access online materials, lectures, and discussions, and catch up on missing assignments, even if they were absent from class. The headphones allow students to work independently and take control of their learning experience, which has been empowering for many of them. Additionally, the headphones have allowed for more opportunities for differentiation and creating accessible material for students, as we can assign different materials to students based on their individual needs and abilities.
In addition, students who are reluctant readers can use the headphones as an aid during independent reading. For some students, reading can be a challenge, and the headphones provide them with the opportunity to listen to and comprehend information differently. Overall, the technology has helped us create a more inclusive and accessible learning environment for all our students.
Your generous donation will continue to be used for future students in my classroom. These headphones will allow me to pre-create materials and supports for students to continue to control their learning at a pace that works for them. At a school where many students struggle with getting to school daily, due to family obligations and other incidences, they can use these resources in class to catch up while they're at school without interrupting other students.
