Personal Protection Equipment For My Students

Help me give my students face masks, facial tissue, disinfecting spray, and gloves for a safe learning environment to keep them healthy. PPE items are critical to have in the classroom, especially during flu season.

  • Healthy Snacks To Combat Hunger

    Funded Apr 4, 2025

Thank you foryour generous donations to our classroom. The students and I greatly appreciate it. Many are from low income homes and cannot afford to bring snacks so this makes a big difference. Students work better when they are not distracted by hunger. These snacks mean alot to the students and their eyes light up when i tell them we got donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dutcher

  • Headsets for Our Classroom Computers

    Funded Feb 14, 2025

Students use headsets when they work on computers in both reading and math. They have various programs that they work on throughout the day that supplement curriculum and provide them with needed skills and practice. Without a headset, it is often difficult for them to concentrate because they are hearing the computers of those who are working near them in addition to their own. The use of a headset gives them the needed privacy and focus that is needed to focus on the work they are doing.

While some students have their own headsets, in a Title 1 low income school, the majority don't so your donations are greatly appreciated. Now all my students are able to work quietly with headsets and are doing well in their studies.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dutcher

  • Brain Food for My Students

    Funded Jan 20, 2025

Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom. The children greatly appreciate the snacks as it is difficult to work when they are hungry. Most of my students come from low-income families where parents do not send in snacks for their children so we rely on the donations from generous people as yourselves.

A mid-morning snack helps alleviate the hunger between breakfast and lunch for these students and they are able to focus on working more easily. For many students, the free breakfast and lunch provided by school is the only food they have and so by morning they are often hungry. A snack curbs their hunger and helps them to be able to do their work.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dutcher

  • Books For Early Literacy

    Funded Dec 26, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation of books for our classroom. The children love reading and having more books to choose from encourages them to read more. They were so excited to get new chapter books as they love the series that was purchased.

Reading increases fluency and helps.build.comprehension which are skills they all need. Students keep a book at their desk for when they are free and can borrow books to take home to read. They also love to do book reports on the books they read as they like sharing the stories with others.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dutcher

  • Healthy Snacks for Learning and Personal Protection Items

    Funded Nov 14, 2024

The snacks provided have helped curb hunger in students. Most are unable to bring a snack and rely on what the schiol can provide.

While we give free breakfast and lunch students still get hungry during the day. These donations helped that and allowed them to focus on learning. We truly appreciate your support. The Gates Foundation was so generous in providing funding for so many projects with ours being one of them. This could not have been accomplished without them as our families are low income and cant afford to donate.”

  • Hands-On Science Activities for Students

    Funded Nov 22, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. The STEM kits we received will help our students in science. They love to build things and the kits will allow them to learn more in the STEM areas.

Many of our students are from low-income families and have never had the opportunity to use hands-on activities before. The kits purchased with your donations will give them this experience. The grow kits in science will teach them how to grow their own plants which will be a useful skill to have.”

  • Beginning of School Year Supplies Needed for Second Grade Classroom

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom. The pencils, markers, copy paper, rulers and other items are so important for our students to have in order to work. Our classroom has its own printer so the copy paper is needed for worksheets that are printed for classwork. Pencils are a basic need and rulers the students use in measurement in math activities. The dry erase markers are used by both the teacher on the whiteboard and the students when working on their eraseable plastic sleeves during math. Since our students come from low-income families we rely heavily on donations for supplies and truly appreciate your generosity.”

  • Urgently Needed Supplies

    Funded Jan 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations for our classroom. The projector and dot cam make a huge difference in teaching and learning for the class. I can now project work instead of always using the whiteboard which makes it easier for students to see when having to copy. The zoom feature helps those who have vision problems and is easier for comprehension as well when they can visually see what is being explained.

The seats for the small group table allow more students to work in small group with me at the same time. We are so grateful.”

    With gratitude,

  • Healthy Snacks for Increased Learning

    Funded Dec 26, 2023

My class and I appreciate your generous donations. Students who are hungry often have trouble focusing and these snacks will give them the needed nourishment between meals to focus on their work. Moat of our students are from low incomw families and get free school lunch. Mamy are unable to bring snacks and so are often hungry during the day.

The snacks provided give the students an added advantage in learning. They are full and able to concentrate on learning . We are so grateful for all your support of our classroom.”
