Enhancing Students Learning

The day we got our classroom donations my students were filled with joy. Thanks to the donation of a bookshelf, our dual classroom has a designated area for Spanish books with easy access. Students were also quite excited about our flexible seats. When they saw them for the first time they refer to them "as the cool seats". This did not only help my class to have a stronger classroom community, but this also helped to keep them motivated and engaged during learning time. Now students have the opportunity to sit more comfortably in the meeting area during instructional time. Indeed they know they need to share them so they are kind with one another and take turns to make sure everybody gets to use them at least once. Furthermore, getting new books in English and Spanish as part of the donation to our library brought big smiles. Many of the books that we received are aligned to the reading curriculum so it inspired students to read the stories. My class and I want to thank you for the support, without your kind donations all of the magic that happened in my classroom wouldn't have been possible.”
