Mental Health Matters

Students have been very happy to receive their own journal. Some students haven't owned a journal before and/or ever considered journaling as a healthy coping strategy to use to reduce life's stresses. Students have shared that having a journal has allowed them to process their thoughts and emotions. Overall, journaling has been helpful for students. Some students have shared that they have begun notice patterns in their behavior and thoughts. They've also reported that it does help them relieve their stress.

The journals that were selected for this project have prompts which help to guide them through this new journaling experience. Some students have shared that they really like the prompts because it helps them to stay focused while journaling.

Journaling is an amazing tool that can help with self reflection and to build new healthy habits. Students are seeing this and some have shared that they feel better after journaling, too. Thanks again for supporting this project!”

With gratitude,
