  • Music Room Essentials

    Thanks again for supporting the music program at our school. It was like Christmas when the boxes arrived! The students had never had new instruments. It truly was a special moment. They couldn't wait to play them and I couldn't wait to teach with them.

    One of our first projects using the xylophones was themed around Thanksgiving. The students made turkey melodies and performed them on the xylophone's for one another. It was nice to see their faces light up when they heard the beautiful sounds the instruments made. One student even commented that the bars didn't fall off as he was playing. They truly seem to appreciate playing non-broken instruments.

    I also thought it was interesting. How much respect for the instrument the students gave. I can tell they would like to keep these instruments nice for a long time. Thank you again for bringing joy to our music room.”
