First I would like to thank you for your donations to our classroom. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Many of us take for granted a stocked pantry. We can easily access snacks and eat when we are hungry. That is not the case for many students who attend Hunter Elementary and my class is no exception. Many of my students come to school hungry or unable to bring an additional snack to keep their growing bodies full throughout the day. Your donations of peanut butter crackers, Gardettos, fruit snacks and rice cakes just to name a few have helped ease this stress on the students in my classroom. Students do not have to worry about going hungry throughout the day because they have access to snacks in our classroom. Your donations have also helped myself and our families out financially as well. A few of our classroom families are able to donate snacks and it is appreciated but not all and if we are running low I provide snacks for the class. Snacks do not last long for 25 students. Your donations to grow our class library is also appreciated. Students enjoy reading about mummies, insects and everything science related. They have been pulling out our donated magnifying glasses and investigating their new books. I cannot thank you all enough.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Moore
