  • Kindergarten Fun

    My students have loved these new engaging resources. We have been using them in small groups to target ELA and math skills while also building communication and collaboration skills. Students were very excited to explore these new materials. They were eager to learn about to use them for skill building and still show excitement each day when it comes time for small group rotations. They even will ask to pull them out again during free play time. I hope to continue to find new intriguing resources to rotate into our daily activities to keep foundational learning engaging.”

  • Play to Learn!

    Thank you for funding this project. Students have been so excited to play in the kitchen play center each day. We no longer have to worry about the safety of the table and chairs. They love seeing food that they also enjoy in their own homes and our community.

    When students first saw it they were in awe, they couldn't believe that it was ours. We had to set time limits so that everyone got a chance to play with the new materials. Students are still thrilled with the new additions. The kitchen remains as one of the most popular stations during play time and I have found, it is a center of oral language building especially for my non verbal and low language students.

    I truly believe that the majority of meaningful learning is done through play in kindergarten. This project has provided my students with a new, safe, and inclusive center to build their learning at while having fun.”
