There's No Place Like Chrome
Funded Dec 13, 2023The two new literature holders that I have turned into chromebook charging and storage stations have been absolutely phenomenal. Each chromebook can easily be located and charged without the hassle of trying to figure out which charger goes to which chromebook, and figuring out where the chromebook would rest when not in use. These have helped so much with the overall classroom experience, as more time can be spent doing the actual learning rather than spending time getting everything gathered and ready for the learning to occur.
I truly thank you for helping me create a more organized solution for school chromebooks. This seems to be one of the most ongoing issues throughout the classrooms at my school, so I'm taking the opportunity to share this great idea that you've helped me accomplish.”

The Snacks Bring Smiles Back
Funded Nov 4, 2023My students are so grateful for the snacks you were able to provide for them! Many of our students do not receive the same opportunities as others to obtain the needs necessary for them to focus while learning. With these snacks, I have been able to ensure that all of my students have at least something in their bellies which ends up being one less thing for them to worry about.
Their snacks have also encouraged them to stay on track and to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. They know that the quicker and most efficient we can get through our lesson, then the quicker we can get snacks. Again, thank you so much for helping me provide a comforting asset to my classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation.M.A.T.H. Mistakes Allow Thinking to Happen
Funded Aug 12, 2023You have truly helped me to create a more interactive/ hands-on experience for me and my students. Sometimes it's difficult to explain math concepts without some sort of visual or manipulative in play. I have been able to keep my students engaged through the use of the numerous manipulatives and posters. They have helped me to create an environment where learning math is not only educational, but fun.
These manipulatives were extra handy when it came time to learning place value, recognizing base ten blocks in conjunction to place value, and writing in expanded form. Sometimes only having numbers can be too much to take in. So by having these math visuals and manipulatives for my students to truly work hands-on, they are able to obtain a better grasp on mathematical concepts.
My students come into the classroom wanting to learn more. As much as they love my interactional presentation of math concepts, they beg me to do assignments on their own. They enjoy a good challenge, but they also know that I'm always there to help when they try to take "too big of a bite." Thank you so much for letting me have this better opportunity to teach my students.”
