I sincerely appreciate your generous donations to my brand new STEM Lab! A STEM Lab is a place where creativity, imagination and mistakes abound. It is a positive, safe place of learning. The materials that I purchased and will purchase as the year continues include a gift certificate to Teachers Pay Teachers. The site will help me find engaging STEM activities and ideas that will enrich the lives of my students. This evening, at Back-to-School Night, the parents of my first grade students will be competing in a STEM challenge against their children. The idea for this activity came from Teachers Pay Teachers where I have also received inspiration for several other ideas and methods of assessment.

I have also purchased a labeling machine and storage boxes. While these materials seem simple and unassuming, I can assure you they are critical components to a well managed STEM Lab. Organization of materials is the key to success!! I appreciate your help in making my classroom a wonderful place to learn!”
