Cozy Learning Corner

Thank you so very much for your contribution to our classroom! The resources that we funded for this project were put right to use upon their arrival. Our students were so excited when they first saw the GIANT pillows sitting on our carpet alongside the brand new clipboards. The students jumped right onto the cushions and confirmed that they are in fact very comfortable! Not only are the cushions super comfortable, but they are also great for sitting and focusing on their work. Students grab the clipboards, move the cushions into a comfortable corner, and get right to work on their assignments.

Our goal with this project was to provide materials and spaces for students to feel focused and motivated. With the addition of the new clipboards and giant cushions, we have achieved this goal. The cushions have served as a motivation for students. The students want to be the ones chosen to sit on the cushions, so they get right to work when they need to. In addition, when they are chosen to use the cushions, they stay on task to get their work done.

Again, Mrs. Martin and I thank you so much for contributing to our "Cozy Learning Corner." We appreciate you and your support! We are having a wonderful and productive school year with our new clipboards and cushions.”
