"It’s Show Time"
Being a middle school teacher is extremely difficult but being a teacher with no to limited resources is even more difficult. I teach reading to 64 eighth graders and I try extremely hard to bring in new reading activities into my classroom. After accomplishing many reading strategies such as reading aloud, silent reading, and group reading, I realized that many of my students enjoyed and scored better in quizzes and tests when we perform Readers’ Theater. I would love to bring in a video camera so that my student could record and edit their work: giving them the opportunity to view their great performances.
