Thank you so much for your generous donation. I’m so excited to receive the books and I can’t wait to begin my students on their inquiry based learning journey.
I want my students to have an authentic learning experience, explore questions and ideas, and research their world. This is exactly what inquiry based learning embodies and I can’t wait to show them.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation and one other donor.
Firstly, I want to say Thank You to the donors for the impact you all had on donating these items and resources to my classroom. It means so much to me from the bottom of my heart. I've had these items for a good while and I finally put them to good use. We used the items from the Donors Chose Project for our "Neon Read-On STAAR Review". I won't forget how excited the students were about coming into my classroom and reviewing. The day before state testing is always intense, nerve wracking, and just full of stress for the kids—I wanted them to leave the classroom knowing that they built a memory and they didn't have any worries.
As for the next step, I do plan to use the items again for the future for the next group of 4th graders. I am grateful to always have these items in the back of my pocket for a fun review day.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Zastryzny
