Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. My students were so excited to receive new books to add to their library bags. The graphic novels were a huge hit! Since receiving the new books my students have been more engaged during independent reading time. We enjoy spending the first 15 minutes of our day reading independently. Reading independently helps students to explore their own interest, improve comprehension, strengthen vocabulary and most importantly learning to read just for the pleasure of it. We are excited to set up our reading corner where students can sit comfortably on our new floor seats and get lost in the world of literature.”
