Little Minds at Work
Funded Aug 3, 2023I am grateful for the donations that have been made for my classroom this school year 2023-2024. I teach at Riverside Community Elementary School. The majority of my students are from low-income families.
The beginning of the school year, I have been utilizing these materials. The primary journals, have made a great impact on my students. When I introduced these journals they were overjoyed with excitement. They absolutely love reading and writing journal. I utilize the writing journal to reinforce their vocabulary skills. The students' are ESOL levels, 1 and 2. This helps create a learning environment where all students are engaged in their learning environment. We had a character parade and we chose Dr. Seuss as our class theme. Students' wrote their favorite part of the story. Students' were proud of their accomplishments in writing one to two sentences independently.
Above all, I am grateful for all of your contributions. You have helped me a lot in continuing this journey of teaching "Little Minds At Work".”
With gratitude,
Ms. Coval
