  I want to thank you for your donation of bouncybands, chewies, ball pillows, adaptive paper, pencil grips, and sensory bottles.

  Your donation has made a difference in creating an inclusive and engaging environment for our students. The bouncybands and ball pillows provided a comfortable way for students to channel their energy and stay focused during lessons. The chewies and sensory bottles were a wonderful addition for calming moments, while the adaptive paper and pencil grips made writing more accessible for those who needed extra support.

• Slime Making and Art Project for Students

  Thank you for your kind donation of Elmer's Washable Liquid Glue, Magic City Slime Activator, Special Supplies Therapy Putty for Kids, Cra-Z-Art Finger Paints Set, Colors Colorations Liquid Watercolor Paints, and the Play-Doh Bulk Jewel Colors 12-Pack of Modeling Compound.

  Your contribution made an immediate and lasting impact in my classroom. The students were absolutely thrilled to receive these materials, and it was nice to see their excitement as they explored the endless possibilities each item offered.

  The Elmer's glue and Magic City Slime Activator allowed them to dive into fun and creative slime-making projects, sparking joy and curiosity. The therapy putty provided a wonderful sensory experience that helped some of our students focus and relax during the day. The finger paints and liquid watercolors opened up a world of color and creativity, as they painted vibrant masterpieces and expressed themselves artistically. And of course, the Play-Doh set was a huge hit, as they molded and shaped their imaginations into tangible creations.

  Thanks to your generosity, my students had the opportunity to engage in activities that not only supported their academic growth but also nurtured their social-emotional development and fine motor skills.”

• Sensory Materials

  Thank you for the sensory items. The sensory items have helped to calm and focus my students. The weighted items have helped my students remain calm while sitting on the rug or seating at their desk. They place the weighted blanket or stuffed animal on their lap and will complete their work because they are able to focus. The compression vests have been a great addition to my class because students can wear the vest and they like the deep pressure from a weighted vest which helps them feel calmer and more organized. Best of all these weighted vests helped my students process sensory information better, improved focus, attention, and learning.”

• OT Basics

  Thank you for the doodle mat, balls, writing tablets, pencils grips, sensory board, animal cars, pencils weights, timer, and busy boards. The Bluey Shake It toy helped my students follow along to the game's directions as they twisted and turned Bluey's body around. The triangular pencils made it easy for my students to hold and write. The pencil grips provided extra weight to grip the pencils and easier to write. The busy boards helped improve my students dressing ability and fine motor skills. The activities helped my students learn basic life skills, numbers, letters, and colors. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

• Dramatic Play and Sensory Tools

  Funded May 6, 2024

  Thank you for the sensory chair, bean bag, and sensory lamp along with the dramatic play items including a tent, crib set, and lawn mower. We have been able to create a calming area with the sensory chair, beanbag, and sensory lamp. This is the perfect place for a calming environment to address their sensory needs.

  The dramatic play items are used by my students to act out real-world situations. They use the tent, crib set, and lawn mower to pretend play and acting out roles with these objects. Dramatic play has helped foster my students social and emotional development by helping them develop critical thinking skills. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

• Sensory Galore

  Thank you for the sensory items and manipulatives. The sensory items and manipulatives have helped to calm and focus my students. The glow in the dark stretchy strings provide both stress relief and entertainment. Their soft, flexible nature makes them the perfect quiet item to use to relief and calm the students who may need it. The Jellyfish lanterns provide a calming atmosphere in my classroom. The sensory socks has helped my students to develop spatial awareness and encourage creative movement for them to improve balance, gross motor skills, and proper postural control/positioning by allowing organization in the sensory system and provide deep pressure input.”

• Magnetic Boards for Pre-K

  Thank you for these resources. My students were overjoyed with all the magnetic boards we received. The magnetic boards have been the perfect item to strengthen their fine motor skills while learning their colors and sorting. It has also strengthen their fine motor skills. It includes these bright color magnets and number mazes along with a magnetic pen that my students get to use to move the magnetic beads from the track to the corresponding spot. It helps my students focus on counting and recognizing their colors. Thank you for supporting my class.”

  Thank you for the ball pits, snap-n-learn cows, number matching chicken, and snap-n-learn narwhals. The sensory items and manipulatives have helped to calm and focus my students. These ball pits have been a great way to comfort my students by providing them ways to cope and create a calming environment to address their sensory needs. The manipulatives have help improve their concentration and focus in the classroom and have also improve and strengthen their fine motor skills while they learn their colors and numbers.”

• Sorting, Stacking, and Sensory Manipulatives to Enhance Communication

  Thank you for these resources. My students were overjoyed with all the goodies we received. These sorting, stacking, and counting toys have been a great way for my students to communicate their wants and needs. They have been using these manipulative to press, push, snap, and scoop while learning conflict resolution skills through play. My students have been busy developing their vocabulary skills by asking for the items. I encourage my students to participate in group activities to learn how to take turns and increase their wait time. Thank you so much for making this possible.”
