Let's Engage Our Senses With Hands-on Learning!

The liquid floor tiles have been a great activity for all my students. We have enjoyed rearranging the tiles to work on gross motor skills are we move around from tile to tile and watch the colors change. We have enjoyed using the sensory bins and materials to work on using fine motor skills. We also use these bins for cooperative play, and learning about new textures. We have used the sensory balls for relaxation and to work on gross motor skills.

My students were so excited to see the new sensory materials provided to us through your generous donations. I look forward to the addition of more use of the sensory items. In addition to the items provided, we have continued to create more sensory bins and find different ways to incorporate them into lessons. There are so many uses for these items, which has increased purposeful play in our classroom.”
