Enhancing Reading Experiences in a Gifted & ELL Classroom

We use our new donated items weekly. The students love to sit for independent work time, or with partners, at our "special" table and on our colorful cushions. When they first used the cushions they kept saying how "comfy" they were and some even said they felt like royalty. These two items have definitely become the favorites. Our carpet added a cozy feel to our small group table and reading area, and the boards have been a blessing for my intervention small group. Our next goals are raising state test scores, which begin in January... wish us luck!!”
