  • Headphones for Every Student

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

I want to take a moment to thank you for your generosity in giving my third-grade class brand new headphones. These headphones have helped students working on their computers to listen to stories and using it for learning time with our curriculum.

Students were super excited to see the boxes coming in with all the headphones that they would be able to use. The adapters also helped a great deal with students' computers that wouldn't work with headphones and I was able to turn regular headphones into usb with that adapter.

Thank you so much for your generosity in helping me give students the ability to focus and listen on their computers.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Quiterio

  • Literary Escape through Books

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

I want to take a moment to thank you for your generosity in creating a classroom library for my third-grade class. The students have been so excited to read all of these fabulous books, and they are now really enjoying have 15 minutes to just drop everything a read a book they are interested in.

As we slowly got each box the student's eyes were wide with amazement, and they couldn't wait to start to read. I had a hard time even putting the books on the shelf before they were all asking for the new ones to read. The cushions are a nice addition to our classroom as well. As students can use them to move around the room to read wherever they want to, and they aren't sitting directly on the floor. They love that they are given flexible seating to read.

Thank you so much for your generosity in helping me give the love of reading to my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Quiterio

  • A Fraction for Success

    Funded Feb 22, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation of all our fraction math games. The students were so excited to get the packages and begin playing each of the games. Students learned all about fractions in class during whole group and then at centers were able to play one of the math games we were given. Playing these games didn't only teach them about fractions but it also taught them teamwork, sportsmanship among other things. My 3rd grade students learn well when playing games and it enforced the standards they need to master.

I saw growth with students who normally don't work well with others. These games gave them the confidence boost they needed to succeed in math. I am looking forward to using these games each year to give students the confidence boost they need to master each math standard.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Quiterio
