  • Snacks Please

    Our students were so grateful for all your contributions. They were able to get nourishing snacks that helped them focus on their academics and not on their hunger.

    Our class has a busy schedule. Most of our students receive free or reduced lunches in our school. Unfortunately they eat lunch early and get hungry and unfocused by the time afternoon arrives.

    Thanks to all the donations received our class had access to snacks, and they were able to focus and be ready for our assessments, and daily tasks in class.”

  • Becoming Readers

    Our class was thrilled with excitement when our package arrived.

    Our class theme this wee is winter season. Therefore we reviewed the parts of the book and did a picture walk of the book before reading it. We read each page and we're able to found sight words

    We talked about pets since the book

    Jack and Jill and Big Dog Bill book was about kids enjoying winter season with their dog.

    The Phonics book and writing book are used to support our low level readers.

    We have kids recognizing letters and beginning sounds.

    We are forever thankful.”
