  • Kindergarten Alphabet Fluency

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

I am so delighted for your support with building letter awareness. My kindergarten students are going to absolutely love starting their mornings with activity based learning. The kindergarten students need to master letter naming fluency as well as letter sound fluency. These alphabetic puzzles and activities will provide a fun way to learn both letter names and sounds, with teacher support and guidance.”

  • Say It, Tap It, Spell It !

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

I am so excited to use these sound boxes paddles during phonics instruction. The students currently are using a lamIinated sheet I created and colorful chips. I can't seem to keep the laminated sheets clean and kindergarteners always loose the chips. I love that the paddles are dry erase boards and the sound chips are magnetic. Thank you so much for providing my kindergarten class with sound box dry erase boards that will be used daily during phonics instruction.”

  • Puzzle Mania

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

Thank you for providing the kindergarten students with a wide variety of puzzles to put together. These puzzles will provide social skills while the students piece together each puzzle. These puzzles will also be utilized during assessment time. They will provide an activity for teams of students to complete so I can work with small groups during our math assessments. I am grateful for your donation and support.”

I am so amazed by your generous donation. Using these math activities will enhance learning immensely in the classroom. The students love to start their day with learning puzzles. They work together in groups to accomplish the task. I also will use these math puzzles/activities as a workplace activity during math time. Thank you for supporting kindergarten math education.”

  • Hooked on Making Words!

I am so thrilled for your donation to this project. We have just finished learning all of the letter names and sounds of the alphabet. The main focus now will be fluently blending CVC words and words with blends. These puzzles and activities will off a hands on approach to mastering making 3 and 4 letter words. Thank you for your support with kindergarten phonics instruction.”

  • Wobble to Learn

    Funded Feb 23, 2024

Thank you for your donation towards "Wobble to Learn". I have a rather large kindergarten class this year and with your donation, I was able to provide each student with their own wobble cushion. Each child makes their own decision if they would like to have the opportunity to sit on a wobble cushion throughout the day, while they are at their desks completing classwork. The students can also take the wobble cushion and lay on it while they are reading books. Often times, the students will rest their head on the wobble cushion while they are reading or sit on top of the cushion that they placed on the floor. When I was taking classes for my masters certificate, I learned that a moving brain is a learning brain. Ever since taking classes on movement in the classroom and flexible seating, I have made it a mission of mine to incorporate a variety of seating choices, so the students can move while they learn. I appreciate your kind and generous donation. Almost all of the kindergarteners use the wobble cushions on a daily basis.”

  • What Animal Group Do I Belong In?

    Funded Feb 22, 2024

I am so fortunate to have had your donation to put towards the plastic animal figures. We did so much with them this year. When the students were Zoologists, they sorted the animal figures into five groups: mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. We studied the different characteristics each animal needed to have to belong to a certain animal group. After studying Zoology, the kindergarten class became Ecologists. Once again, the students used the plasitc animal figurines to sort the animals into different biomes: savanna, forest, rain forest, desert and ocean. As a class we studied the plants and animals in each biome, as well as food webs. The students would sort the animals into the animals primary biome. The last activity we did was during our weather unit in science. I taught them about shelters. The students used wooden planks, magnatiles, logs, wooden blocks, and paper to construct a shelter for their animals. Thank you for supporting the kindergarteners, by providing tangible items to help foster their scientific learning.”
